

A soluble vitamin C in the form of calcium ascorbate powder. This is a buffered form of vitamin C (pH neutral) i.e. non-acidic and hence is gentler on the stomach than ascorbic acid. The powder allows for flexible dosing. Vitamin C’s functions include contributing to normal immune system function and the protection of cells from oxidative stress; this means it is an antioxidant.

Doses of over 1g of vitamin C may cause mild stomach upset in sensitive individuals.
