All you need to have with you on holiday, at home, in the garden - in fact anywhere. One bottle of each Tea tree Essential Oil and Lavender Essential Oil with a selection of plasters to protect the wound.
Tea Tree Essential Oil: Tea tree essential oil is probably the most used essential oil in the world due to its outstanding healing properties. Tea tree oil can be used neat on the skin and is famed for its germicidal, antiseptic and anti-fungal properties especially towards cold sores, athletes foot, thrush, herpes, warts, nail infections and abscesses. It can be used neat on spots, acne, cuts, insect bites - in fact any type of misadventure to the body - and is also widely used to treat head lice. Tea tree oil can also be used in mouthwashes or as a gargle for throat infections and gingivitis. No house should be without this essential oil and it should be always packed for holidays. The therapeutic properties of tea tree oil include antiseptic, antiviral, balsamic, bactericide, expectorant, fungicide, insecticide, stimulant and sudorific. Aroma: Strong medicinal. Note: Tea tree is a powerful oil and neat application to the skin must be done with care.
Lavender Essential Oil: Lavender is the essential essential oil. With wide ranging benefits and lovely aroma lavender is the equally well used essential oil. It is used to sooth burns and bruises, - apply immediately for best results - prevent blistering & scarring (cooks should always keep a small bottle to hand in the kitchen) as well as being an antiseptic ideally to be used on spots, bites and stings etc. as well as an insect repellent
Used in oil burners, massage oils, as a bath oil, or directly on the skin lavender is calming and balancing. Lavender aids a restful nights sleep, relaxes, is good for hay fever, headaches and tension to name just a few.
The therapeutic properties of lavender oil include antiseptic, analgesic, anti-depressant, anti-rheumatic, anti-spasmodic, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, bactericide, carminative, decongestant, deodorant, diuretic, sedative, and vulnerary. Aroma: clean, fresh & floral. Note: Lavender oil is said to be one of the safest essential oils but some people are allergic. You should discontinue use is you have any allergic reactions.
Plasters: A range of plasters to finish off the set that, short of a major disaster, is all you need for first aid treatment for almost every eventuality. (Regrettably we cannot use leaves, so have been obliged to use man made plasters, with apologies!)
